Trend Lines

Trend Lines are a technical indicator where a straight line is drawn connecting a series of prices with either a clear downward or upward trend.

Traders incorporating trend lines into their strategy may look for prices breaking through a trend line to potentially identify changing trends.

Setup Trend Lines using the buttons beneath the chart in the Chart tab.

NOTE: Interpreting trend lines is a complex subject, so it is recommended that you learn as much as possible about them before incorporating them into your trading strategy. Many books, web sites, and third party educators are available to further your understanding of Technical Analysis.
