Security

To ensure a secure and error-free logon, go to Tools > Options > Advanced in your browser and check Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0. Use SSL 2.0 can also be checked.

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled.

In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options > Security. Make sure that Active Scripting is Enabled for the Internet Zone.
In Mozilla, click Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Scripts & Plug-ins. Make sure Navigator is checked in the Enable JavaScript for section.
In Firefox, click Tools > Options > Content and make sure Enable JavaScript is checked.

Cookies must be enabled. Enabling cookies varies by browser, but will be found under the Tools > Options menu in the Privacy or Security tabs.

Pop-up Blocker

Turn off the pop-up blocker in your browser. For instructions on turning off pop-up blockers go to the Pop-up Blockers topic or consult the help system for your browser.

Rosetta Setting in Safari

StreetSmart.com® requires the use of Sun's Java technology. If your computer does not already have the Sun JRE installed, you can get it for free from the Sun web site: http://www.java.com/en/. The site includes instructions for installing the software and the process may take a few minutes.

If your computer already has the correct Sun JRE installed and you are using the Safari browser, please make sure that the browser's Rosetta setting is not checked. To uncheck the Safari Rosetta on the Mac, please do the following:

Go to the Applications Folder and click the Safari icon.
Click File > Get Info from the menu.
Under General, uncheck the Open Using Rosetta setting
Log into StreetSmart.com.

Note: End of support for Windows 98 and Windows Me
