Combos

The Combo tab allows you to manually input two legged spreads and other two legged options strategies not specifically supported in any of the other Advanced Options tabs.

Note that because Schwab currently only accepts two legged orders, if you complete a stock leg (Leg 1), you will not be able to complete Leg 3, and vice versa. Also, the StreetSmart Pro® Combination order is not the same as the Combo strategy on Schwab.com.

Commissions, taxes, and transaction costs are not included in any of these strategy discussions, but can affect final outcome and should be considered. Please contact a tax advisor to discuss the tax implications of these strategies. All strategies described herein require the use of a margin account. Options carry a high level of risk and are not suitable for all investors. Certain requirements must be met to trade options through Schwab.
